Welcome to the Cleveland Museum of Engineering & Technology (Cleveland MET)—an emerging museum dedicated to preserving the engineering, transportation, industrial, and technological history of Cleveland, Northeast Ohio, and the Great Lakes region.
Although we are in the early stages of building our collection, our mission is already underway: rescuing historically significant artifacts before they are lost forever and restoring them so future generations can appreciate the ingenuity that shaped our communities.
From bridge control panels and railroad infrastructure to warning sirens, industrial machinery, and electrical systems, every artifact has a story to tell. Through restoration, research, and education, Cleveland MET is committed to preserving not just the objects themselves, but the people, innovation, and engineering legacy behind them.
